does anyone know the score between Brig and Douglas 16 September 2010 it seems it may not have been phoned in, it wasnt on the scores in the buck'n'hynd

i was told this game was 8-6 to argyle and went to 8-8 after playing to 1am

so much for the new format being faster / more games

It is much faster, but to much time is wasted between frames as far as I can see, waiting for balls to be set up, chasing around for a ref etc etc, then at half time it's like a piece break at work, need to keep the game flowing right from 8pm, no F****** about.

the mighty argyle went to mollys and gave them a severe thrashing. i lost count at 9-2 is this not a team that was getting spoken about as contenders for the tittle again c;mon lads your having a laugh. great bunch o lads but not tittle contenders now if the argyle can get the same players every week well who knows what can happen. be be very lol.

I like your banter Tel: "Thrashing". 11-5 was the final score. You were the better team on the night but a few games won by luck rather than skill, almost every game could have went either way. It'll be a different story the next time. We may not be title contenders but we'll be closer to the title than you, The league table does not lie and we're above you!

By the way did you're Argyle shirt get delivered yet or are they keeping it as the marquee for the royal wedding next year?

yeah i wood like ur style baldy if u had any as 4 games gon either way c;mon we all kin they wer only gon 1 way n u reckon u will finnish above the mighty argyle. av jist finnished pmsl. . looks like ma shirt might be ready 4 the royal wedding next year av waited long enough plus i had to buy it masel. now u be a good little boy n of u pop to play in the snaw u might be better at throwin balls than pottin them

I phoned the buck for the scores as it is snowing,
they said they had no scores from last night to (11.30) as guidy got everyone to text there scores to him

ok got the results from guidy except kirkland v sunbeam

the buck must have closed early last night well it was terrible weather

A Think There Should a ref for every team in the league. so there no moanin and cheatin..

the new fixtures have been added for the second part of the season with two divisions, not sure what there gonna be called so i called then division one and two
i've added the points won from the first half of the season with 15 teams, if you want to know what the fixtures, scores from these games it's still under levenmouth pool league
the bottom 7 teams has a free week

blazers at home for this fixture, the table had just been recovered the day before , new cloth and cushions, new balls
it is fast and it seems more difficult to pot in my opinion, its better to roll them in no hard shot is neaded
yes this table is better now the work has been done (at least for a few weeks), just getting used to it now
the table was recovered for the start of last season but the cushions were not replaced it did show at the time, but if the landlord goes for short cuts then there is nothing you can do.

the match - blazers were up 5-3 after the first half but with blazers at eight frames won they found it hard to win the match and it looked like being a draw with tam (the courpes) mcculloch to play last versus willy simpson
eventually willy had a pot at his colour i think he potted but hit it to hard and the white hit the black and knocked it into the middle bag possibly the only way tam was going to win, lucky but a win for blazers 9-7.

STOO, If it was Simpsons last ball he potted and the black in the same shot then im led to believe he infact wins the frame,please correct me if im wrong but that is my understanding of that rule.

If it happened the way u describe it Stoo then W Simpson should have won, blackball rules state that if u pot ur last ball and black in same shot u win the frame

I haven't described it fully as it was not his last colour and I canny mind if he potted his ball

Yes I am aware of the rule potting the black with the same shot as your colour or colours is potted

looking at the points in the league, it has the free week in as 2 points for a win

dont know if the committee are calling the bottom 8 teams as league 2 put to get 2 points for not playing a fixture only in the bottom league canny be write, the top 8 teams have to play all there games to get points, another strange decition

the league started with 1 group and everyone played each other once and was given 2 points for the free week (maxwells) who never played in the summer cup, and this fixture should have been void (no points)

teams playing and winning or drawing a match should be given what ever points they win not getting points for a free week, at the end of season points money is given to teams that win the most points , teams getting points for free weeks are taking money of the teams that play for their points

the only score not phoned in or i aint got a contact for is from the Station v Empire

any one know the score from this game post it so the keague table can be updated

kirkland bar are pish only me and mikey dodds won a game pisses me aff we beat the station. n get hammerd from the tower. no gaw say its cos two my good players wernt there cos thats no the case.. geen up next year sick eh the team no puting a effort in

So after Thursday's match 3 February there is no league matches till 24 March I dont see that this is a good idea cos its ok if your in the competitions but not everyone can be (some players may not have a game for 6 weeks)

the competitins should have been more split between the league fixtures as it has been in the past

players league form go up and down so if you have to play every week in competition and am playing badly that for could last for weeks and your out all the cups you have qualified for

this idea must have come from another league setup not levenmouth from years gone by, change can be better but i dont think it is in this case

social league , social for who the select few , the league has to involve the lesser players as well or these players will stop playing and the league will fold

the finals were decided and captains were informed of this at the january meeting
at the AGM there was talk of 1 finals day with all the finals voted for and a venue paying to hold the final , this in my opinion was a crazy idea and will not happen as i thought, its a social league landlords pay £160 a season thats all your gonna get from them its crazy to ask for more in these days of money being tight.

finals - hope no one is on holiday as these dates were usally made at the start of the season in years gone by, the whole point in giving the dates to all the teams early is so everyone can make the date for the final if they win through to them (as im on holiday 24 april, 8 may and 29 may i wont manage the 100 ball , doubles , 3 man teams and singles if only the dates had been made before i booked my holidays, lucky i never entered any of them )
