How come Gabs didnae play in this

so the committee have decided to play an over 50's competition
why is this, to give older players a chance to compete in a competition without the better younger players, who play aw the time

what about a ladies cup, this would bring more ladies into the league competing against a similair standard of player , we arni all super stars that win titles

I don't know if their is any teams with ladies in them maybe because teams won't play them as they dont compete as well

I think to start any thing like this you would need at least eight, every pub has the odd lady player maybe not in the pool team put plays on a friday or saturday, look at darts they have players in their league

This over 50s competition is the idea of Ian Brodie
who says he wants to put something back into the league after all these years enjoyment
He has bought a good trophy with his own money
This costs nothing to enter and there is no prize money (i believe)
I dont think this has cost the league a penny either

I agree wi u Stoo, think there should be more ladies in the pool league,
I'm sure the ladies Darts have a whole league just for them.
