chris could not be contacted:
the tie between gabs and chris should have been played a few weeks ago so gabs was given a bye.

semi final score from last night Baba 75 - 45 Gabs

just waiting for the other semi to be played , they did mention about trying to get it played this weekend.


prize money - i have to collect the entry fee's from 7 players still & 3 from the jathros league

at last the game between R Frape & J McIlroy has been played with rab winning 75-31

that now sets up a final between jathro's winner Baba and Rab Frape date to be confirmed

it was put to me that it may be an idea for the semi-final and final to be played on the same day at a chosen venue so there is no delay in getting the final played ,we may go for this next season
maybe a sunday like the levenmouth pool league does,with all the players in the final putting there chosen venue in a hat and the final being drawn from there selections. they may all vote for the same venue but it would be secret till drawn or if they all agree on a venue then play it there

baba won the 75 baw last night 150 - 47

baba started with a 36 break and after the good start it was very difficult for frape to get back into it.
with 1 shot of the break all the breaks baba had early on seemed to be potting a baw,frape when he had the break missed.
baba had another sizable break and after that the game was as good as over.

as last season i think we should leave the start of this competition till 2010 maybe february again.
32 players entered last time i even potted a few.

or as the league has been delawed a bit the 75 baw may be played dusing the summer

ok chaps a couple of players have asked about this competition so i was thinking maybe starting it some time in march a couple of weeks to play a match , any one interested get your name down £5 each we need this before the start if possible , some players still have to pay their jathro's league feas aswell so we need them in as well

what about these dates no sure how many will be entered ,last year we had 32 if there is 32 or anything more than 16 then thats 8 weeks 4 rounds i think

the final is decided by the finalists when to play they have from 10 May 16 May to decide when to play it

the draw for the 2nd round, the qualifiers can choose where they want play the match as no fixtures have been arranged

the rules are the same as we play in the 100 ball minus 3 for a foul no moving the white when you have a foul

amazing result between finn and jim white, the final score ending 75-74 .winning by 1 ball in the end to finn
