Naw just have to work with them.

I dont think we'll get any more than 24 so as soon as the 5 who are still to pay, we'll start it with 4 groups of 6
unless there is any complaints about this

With there being 30 players now, that means 2 more to make 32 players to have 8 groups of 4 players with no free weeks (3,5,7 would have free weeks), groups of 7 or more didnt work last year

groups of 4 players gives everyone 3 matches in their group and 4 more games (knock-out) for the players making it to the final

groups will be used as no one wanted to change the format of the competition from group stages then knock-out

we have 31 players and £310 for prizes , just needing one more for the groups to all have 4 players in them

the draw has been made for the 8 sections with 1 with 3 players in it (player will be added)
the fixtures will be on website when the 32 players are complete and phone numbers, fixtures, reminder of rules sent to all competitors

i took note of who was drawn from the draw, the people that made the draw were Ian Brodie, Cammy, Gabs, i think Mike McHale drew a couple

anyway its done now with christmas and boxing day competions coming up , i think a fresh start in the new year january 2 would be best to start it

Since you've made the draw Stoo can we not get started asap ?. Think with the hols coming up it should be easier to get a couple of games organised when people are off work rather than waiting til the new year.
I think historically we have had to cram games in in the last few weeks of the qualifying stage , games not getting played etc.

ok brian managed to get a player to make the 32, we can start now so with the 1st week having an extra week to play it (3 weeks)
