chill oot man next roond is not until 24 April and we all know that so if u know ur venue on the 23 April that all is well
But I know what u r saying as there is not another meeting before the next round, as it stands all qualifiers should be handed in to the meeting to-morrow night so all goes well at the meeting then there should be no problem in making a draw at that meeting as there is not another scheduled before next round takes place
Draws should always be made at meetings where a rep from each team is available to witness Venues can always be organised at a later date if not available at said meeting
All the best to all the qualifiers anyway even those that did not even need to screw their q to-gether

the draws im sure will be handed around to each team on the thursday night after the meeting.
thats what happened last year if i remember correct, draw doesnt get made at meeting im pretty sure of that as ive only ever seen 1 draw being made and that was the doubles this year and thats coz i happened to be in the pub when the draw was being done

Re: Venues - Argyle to Den Inn
i uz are right the draws should be made at the meeting but they aint ,years ago they did but that idea stopped it would make the meetings more interesting ,all you do at a meeting is turn up wi your team sheets say "here" then its home time. they may draw the venues for the finals tho.
in the singles i didnt hear of any venue having everyone turn up (blazers 3, AHW 7) a bit dissapointing last 32 should be a bit better.

pool
yes scott you did beat me 6-5 .... would of prefered that you said about the enormous amount of luck you carried mate and the huge amount of positional play that you were not near but you managed to kick of other balls and leave yourself absolute perfect ... but thats pool i suppose .. you can beat skill but you have no chance against bad luck .......... enjoy your win matey cause you certainly wont get much more thats for sure ........ ps- you must of been knackered after our match mate .... cause it seemed that everytime you were not at the table you were walking away chatting to people ...... and also i had to go and make an appointment with the doctor after the match to see if i needed an hearing aid .... cause ALSO when you were not at the table you were doing a lot of talking .... OOPS i meant shouting about the last shot that you played so that i can hear you ........ theese are old tricks ... but will never happen again matey ............. I LOVE BEING A NAME AT POOL .... cause it means that all the young pretenders try anything to win a match against me ....... love love love the game ............. give me a room with a pool table and a key to the door so i can lock scotty in and take every penny of him ... just like i was doing that day before the tourni started heheheheheheheheheheh goodluck at the im finals matey

Hey Paddy dont worry about this mate. Rangers proved at the weekend that the best players dont always win. A bit of luck is usually required to stop the best and the vast majority are not even CLOSE to your high standards. (only my opinion)

Crazy statement Willie. If I remember correctly it was a bit of a one sided affair. Not asked about your request yet sun but I know there will be a few guys who will not be happy with this. Personally I think you should hang on in the buck for the time being bcoz I think it will take a WHILE for the pub to be sold - if at all.

Guys not happy? do they know scott's not going with us? hahahaha well I'm just trying to get as many options as poss but if some guys don't want to share a table that's understandable! aye it was a good tankin at the brig, only team to beat us easily this season.

Why r they not made at meetings then, this is only the fairest way to do things and all captains r there to witness, what is the point in having meetings at all then Just to hand in teamsheets is a waste of peoples time, then if no one turns up from a team then I suppose they fine the team (Denn Inn 5 turned up out of a possible 9). It is a bit disappointing but it is their £1 they paid to enter so it's up to them at the end of the day.
What is the next round format ie - 4 venue's of 8 with 1 qualifier from each or what

Re: Venues - Argyle to Den Inn
eh i think its 4 venues of 8 with 2 qualifying for the quarter final (finals day sunday)
Re: Venues - Argyle to Den Inn
i think they said the draw for the 2nd round will be handed out a week on thursday , the final will be in the Windsor not the worst venue in the world one wall does come into play with a shelf and the bar and seats on the other side and you canny see fuck all come to thinking about it now it aint such a good venue aw well i wont have to worry about it

old tricks you must have payed more attention to me than ur game coz u done a lot of talking with rossco, murdy and maxi SNR too and it didnt bother me durin the game
a win against urself is a win no matter how i did it tho, you are a FAR better player than me and you see better ways of going around the table than i do so if i go the "wrong" way about it and it still works....for now ill be happy with that and hopefully someday i will be able to play the way you do (unlikely)
ill need the luck at the IM finals day tho
aye am a tenner down after u beating me 5-2 and 5-4 but at least i had the guts to play a pro for money even if it was only a fiver a time wouldnt take u long to take all my cash off me coz i aint got much tho
prob see you in hustlers sometime this week mate
